The Tuscarora Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica x fauriei 'Tuscarora') is a popular and hardy ornamental tree regarded for her beautiful pink flowers that bloom from Summer to Fall. During stormy winter nights, her wet, peeling bark reveals it’s true form at rest. Her tired muscles, limbs and bones are bodies weakened and worn down to only what is needed to endure the rainy winters in North Carolina. When springtime returns and rebirth is in the air, she blooms brighter than she did the previous year.
